【Objective】To analyze the literature on ketogenic diet and overweight/obesity research from 2013-2022, and to identify the hot spots and trends of research in this field. 【Methods】 The search was completed on March 6, 2023 by conducting a subject term field search of the Web of Science core database, and the bibliometric method and CiteSpace.6.1.R6 software were applied to statistically analyze the literature characteristics such as country/region, author, institution, journal and keywords.【Results】A total of 414 literature data were obtained, including 264 papers and 150 review papers. The annual number of publications showed a gradual increase; the countries with high number of publications and high influence were mainly the United States and Italy; the core researchers and popular journals in this field is Paoli, Antonio and NUTRIENTS. The key words of the research hotspots are "weight loss", "insulin resistance", "low carbohydrate", "body composition "body composition", "metabolism", etc.; popular topics were "β-hydroxybutyric acid", "ketogenic diet", "very low The top topics were "beta-hydroxybutyric acid", "ketogenic diet", "very low energy diet", "intervention", "nutrition", etc. The trends were "lipid analysis", "quality of life", and "weight loss diet".【Conclusion】The focus on ketogenic diets and overweight/obesity research has continued to increase over the past 10 years. Compared with other countries, there is still a significant gap in China, and further research in this area should be guided by research hotspots and trends.
