Abstract:

Six kinds of crude oil from the gathering-transportation station of SINOPEC Shengli Oilfield are selected, desalinated and dehydrated in the laboratory. The physical properties, elemental composition, chemical composition, and structural composition of the dehydrated crude oil are determined. The results show that Gudao crude oil has the highest asphaltene and sulfur content and the worst properties among the six kinds of Shengli crude oil, followed by Gudong crude oil with the highest acid value and carbon residue, while Chunliang crude oil and Haoxianlian crude oil have high wax content, both exceeding 20%, low density, less than 0.9 g/cm³, and their processing properties are similar. The values of molecular weight, aromaticity, total ring number and aromatic ring of gum and asphaltene of Gudao crude oil are the highest among the six kinds of crude oil, indicating that Gudao crude oil has the worst properties and is the most difficult to dehydrate and desalinate, followed by marine crude oil and Gudong crude oil, while the values of gum and asphaltene of Chunliang crude oil, Haoxianlian crude oil and gathering-transportation crude oil are relatively small, indicating that these three kinds of crude oil have good properties, and dehydration and desalting is easy.
