Abstract:

HAMON electrostatic precipitator can be used to treat catalyst dust in FCC flue gas. Due to the four-year maintenance of FCC unit, the electrostatic precipitator cannot be shut down for maintenance at any time, therefore, studying the operation of the HAMON electrostatic precipitator is of great significance for ensuring the long-term stable operation of the electrostatic precipitator and FCC unit. During operation, the electrostatic precipitator experiences a decrease in current and voltage. After analyzing the cause of the malfunction and conducting an inspection after the shutdown of the electrostatic precipitator, it is found that corrosion leakage causes high flue gas humidity in the internal of the electrostatic precipitator. We have established inspection and maintenance items, replaced accessories, and adjusted the current, voltage, rapping period and rapping intensity of the electrostatic precipitator based on the cold test results. After the maintenance start-up, the dust concentration at the inlet of the electrostatic precipitator is 53.3 mg/m³, and the dust concentration at the outlet is 4.8 mg/m³, which is much lower than the design value(30 mg/m³). The maintenance has been suspended for over 2 years, and the electrostatic precipitator operates smoothly without any faults, achieving long-term stable operation.
