Abstract: The problems of regenerator cyclone leg blockage, leakage of the lock hopper filter, wear-through leakage of the adsorbent pipeline, and porcelain ball pulverization in regeneration air dryer were occurred during the operation of the two sets of S Zorb devices of the SINOPEC Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Company. And these problems affect the long-term operation of the unit and product quality. The causes of these problems are analyzed and corresponding measures are taken: ①Before the regenerator is put into operation, ensure that there is no open water in the primary and secondary legs of the cyclone separator, the drying time of the regenerator is as long as possible, and strictly control the oxygen volume fraction of the regenerated flue gas not to exceed 0.2%; ②Improve and upgrade the connection mode between the filter tube plate and filter element of the lock hopper, and strictly control the material level of the lock hopper not to exceed 80%; ③Strengthen fixed-point thickness measurement for adsorbent lifting pipeline, control nitrogen lifting amount and adsorbent blanking speed, and upgrade pipeline material; ④Strict management, implement the device operation and operation in strict accordance with the scheme, carry out daily patrol inspection, find problems early and deal with them properly in time.
