Abstract: The phenomenon that the dipleg of the second-stage cyclone in the regeneration system of FCC unit are blocked at several places in a petrochemical enterprise is introduced, and analyzes the reason of catalyst loss caused by its failure. By changing the installation angle of the cyclone separator wing valve(the static test mass is changed from 1.5 kg to 1.0 kg), the elevation(the weld elevation of 12 wing valves is increased by 100 mm), the opening direction(the opening direction of 5 wing valves is changed to point to the center of the regenerator), adjusting the height of the dipleg, increasing the fluidization air distribution pipe and other measures, the problem of the blockage of the dipleg of the second-stage cyclone has been solved. The results show that by adjusting the installation angle of the wing valve and other measures, the working condition of the second-stage cyclone of the regenerator is stable, and the relevant parameters such as catalyst dust in the flue gas at the outlet of the regenerator are controlled within the range of the process control index, which provides a reference for the long-term operation of the second-stage cyclone and the flue gas energy recovery unit.
