Application of INPLANT software in identification of gas-liquid two-phase flow patterns in hydrocracking units

摘要: 以中东某炼油厂柴油加氢装置为研究对象,采用INPLANT软件对反应系统两相流管线进行水力学计算,分析了管道直径、气液比和流体负荷对水平管道两相流流型转变的影响。结果表明:通过提高流体气液比可以将不稳定的段塞流转变为稳定流型环状流;改变管径和流体负荷,不能将文中所研究管道的两相流流型由段塞流转变为环状流;将液相流速降低至足够低时,流型可以转变为波状流。将计算结果用于指导装置操作调整,提高流体的气液比,消除了反应系统压力波动,表明该软件模拟的流型转变趋势与实际生产接近,准确度较高。

Abstract: Based on a diesel hydrocracking unit in a Middle Eastern oil refinery as the research object, INPLANT software was used to conduct hydraulic calculations on the two-phase flow pipeline of the reaction system. The effects of pipeline diameter, gas-liquid ratio, and fluid load on the transition of two-phase flow patterns in horizontal pipelines were analyzed. The results show that by increasing the gas-liquid ratio of the fluid, the unstable slug flow can be transformed into a stable flow pattern, annular flow; changing the pipe diameter and fluid load cannot transform the two-phase flow pattern of the pipeline studied in this paper from slug flow to annular flow; when the liquid phase flow velocity is reduced to a sufficiently low level, the flow pattern can be transformed into wavy flow. The calculation results were used to guide the operational adjustment of the unit, increasing the gas-liquid ratio of the fluid, eliminating the pressure fluctuations in the reaction system, indicating that the flow pattern transition trend simulated by the software is close to actual production, with high accuracy.
