Calculation of water loss in open-loop cooling water system based on least squares method

摘要: 某炼油厂循环水系统每天的计算水损失量与实际水损失量存在一定的偏差。针对该问题,对该套循环水系统水量损失的计算情况进行了校正。通过试验装置的水量损失数据与计算数据对比并利用最小二乘法进行拟合,拟合后的曲线最优区间变化斜率k控制在1.06~1.09且循环水最优区间变化截距b控制在14~19时,实际损失量与计算值的偏差率可控制在5%以内;当k取值为1.07且b取值为15时,最大偏差率仅为4.77%,验证了该算法的可行性。

Abstract: In a certain refinery, the calculated water loss of the circulating water system differs from the actual water loss. To address this issue, a correction of the water loss calculations in the circulating water system was conducted. By comparing the water loss data from the experimental setup with the calculated data and using the least squares method for fitting, the optimal range of the fitted curve's slope k was controlled between 1.06 and 1.09, and the intercept b was controlled between 14 and 19. The deviation rate between the actual loss and the calculated value could be kept within 5%. When k is 1.07 and b is 15, the maximum deviation rate is only 4.77%, confirming the feasibility of this method.
