Summary of application of oil sludge and dross treatment process in refineries

Abstract:

A certain refinery has innovatively proposed an integrated process of “heating flocculation + stacked-screw dewatering + centrifugal high-efficiency oil-water purification” to address the problem of oil sludge and dross treatment in refining enterprises. This process reduces the viscosity of oil sludge by mixing the feedstocks of oil sludge and dross in proportion with hot dilution water, and then uses a screw press for dewatering to achieve solid-liquid separation. Efficient oil-water separation of the separated liquid is achieved through high-speed centrifugal purification equipment. Trial run data showed that after treatment, the stock of dross decreased by more than 60%, and the water content decreased to 73.89%. The separated water was basically free of sediment, with an oil content of less than 10 mg/L and chemical oxygen demand reduced to below 600 mg/L. The purity of the recovered waste oil reached 97.2%, with a water content of less than 1.2%. Compared with the traditional centrifugation method, the use of new technology has significant economic benefits. The treatment of 1,500 tons of oil sludge and dross resulted in a profit of 1.14 million yuan from waste oil recovery, generating a total benefit of 2.933 million yuan.

针对炼化企业油泥浮渣处理难题,某炼油厂创新性提出了“加温絮凝+叠螺式脱水+离心式高效油水净化”集成工艺。该技术通过按比例混合油泥浮渣原料和热稀释水降低油泥黏度后,采用叠螺机脱水实现固液分离,分离液通过高速离心净化设备完成油水高效分离。试运行数据显示:采用该工艺处理后,浮渣存量减少60%以上,含水量降至73.89%;分离水基本不含泥沙,含油量低于10 mg/L,化学需氧量降至600 mg/L以下;回收污油纯度达97.2%,含水量小于1.2%。与传统离心法相比,采用新技术经济效益显著,处理1500 t油泥浮渣,污油回收收益达114万元,共产生效益293.30万元。
