Research on regeneration performance of FTX bulk hydrogenation catalyst

Abstract: The FTX bulk catalyst regeneration test was carried out, and then the characterization methods, evaluation methods such as XRD, SEM and TEM were used to investigate the physico-chemical properties and activity of the regenerated bulk hydrogenation catalyst (RBHC). The evaluation results showed that the volume recovery rate of the RBHC can reach 94%, the sulfur content of the RBHC was 1.62%, and the carbon content was 0.59%, the desulfuration and decarburization effect of the RBHC were remarkable, the pore structure was obviously restored, and the active metal dispersed uniformly, only a small amount of NiS grains accumulated. Based on the small-scale evaluation tests using hydrogenation unit and the first industrial application of RBHC, it shows that the RBHC has a good hydrodesulfurization activity, and there is little activity difference between regenerated and fresh catalyst, which can meet the requirements of long-term stable operation of industrial unit. The regeneration of bulk catalyst can further reduce the production cost of the catalyst.

摘要: 对FTX体相催化剂进行再生试验,采用X射线衍射等多种表征方法进行评价,考察再生后体相催化剂物理化学性质及活性的恢复情况。评价结果表明,再生剂体积收率可达94%;硫、碳质量分数分别为1.62%,0.59%,再生过程脱硫、脱碳效果显著;孔结构得到明显恢复;活性金属分散较为均匀,只出现少量NiS晶粒聚集。小型加氢装置活性评价试验和首次工业应用结果表明,再生剂具有良好的加氢脱硫活性,且与新鲜剂活性相差不大,能够满足工业装置长期稳定运行的要求。体相催化剂具有良好的再生性能,再生使用可进一步降低催化剂使用成本。
