Abstract:

Taking the overhead air cooler of a fractionating tower in a petrochemical unit as an example, this paper discusses the key points and matters needing attention in the equipment layout and pipeline design of multiple parallel high-efficiency composite air coolers. The layout of air coolers must meet the requirements of process flow and standard specifications, avoid hot air circulation, and save land and investment. Whether the fluid medium in the inlet pipeline is evenly distributed is an important factor affecting the process performance of the air cooler. Through comparison of pipeline layout schemes and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation analysis, the optimal pipeline layout scheme for balanced fluid distribution in the air cooler inlet pipeline was determined, providing a reference for the layout and pipeline design of multiple parallel high-efficiency composite air coolers.

摘要:

以某石油化工装置分馏塔顶空冷器为例,探讨了多组并联高效复合空冷器平面布置和管道设计的重点和注意事项。空冷器的布置需满足工艺流程和标准规范的要求,避免热风循环并节约占地、节省投资。空冷器进口管道内流体介质分布是否均衡是影响空冷器工艺性能的重要因素,通过管道布置方案比选和计算流体力学(CFD)模拟分析,确定了空冷器进口管道流体介质均衡分布的最佳管道布置方案,为多组并联高效复合空冷器的布置和管道设计提供参考。
